Delta
Terms of Use
Last updated 14 September 2026
By downloading or using Delta you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Delta is
Delta is a learning app. It publishes short lessons about AI and machine learning practice, each ending in a question you answer, and schedules what you see next based on how you answered.
Delta is educational material, not professional advice. Cards covering security, regulation, governance, and compliance describe how engineers commonly approach these subjects. They are not legal advice, not a compliance assessment, and not a substitute for your own counsel or your organisation's review process. Do not rely on a card as the basis for a regulatory decision.
Accuracy
Cards are written from public sources, which are cited and linked on every card. The field moves quickly and sources are sometimes wrong. Delta makes no warranty that any card is complete, current, or correct, and you are responsible for verifying anything you act on. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it.
Subscriptions
- Delta offers a free allowance and a paid subscription. The free allowance is a fixed number of cards, once, not a recurring daily amount.
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase, in your own currency.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iOS Settings under your Apple ID. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
- Prices may change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and Apple will ask you to confirm before any increased amount is charged.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Delta cannot issue refunds directly.
Acceptable use
You may use Delta for your own learning, including at work. You may not:
- Copy, scrape, or bulk-export card content, or redistribute it as your own product or dataset
- Share, resell, or transfer your subscription
- Attempt to bypass the free allowance, interfere with the service, or access another person's account
- Use automated means to access the app or its backend
Content ownership
Cards are written by us and are our property. Each card cites and links to the source it was written from; those sources belong to their own authors and Delta does not reproduce their text. If you believe a card infringes your copyright, email us and we will investigate and remove it if warranted.
Your answer history is yours. See the Privacy Policy.
Availability
Delta is provided as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the paid service entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any active subscription.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Delta is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending access
You may stop using Delta at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of the acceptable use terms above.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and material changes will be announced in the app before taking effect. Continuing to use Delta after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
